General Superintendent Commercial Construction

Jacobs Group General Contractors, a commercial General Contracting business based in Louisville, KY, is seeking a General Superintendent to add to our growing team.
We are looking for team player with a strong knowledge of commercial construction to help manage a team of field Superintendents and other site leads based in 43 states.
Work closely with the President of Construction and Senior Project Managers to maintain a harmonious balance of safe, productive and top-quality construction.
Manage a team of Field Superintendents and foreman.
Ensure safety standards per company and OSHA standards are up to date, implemented and that on-site leadership is enforcing it.
Make sure that all JGI quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Follow and promote all guidelines, policies and procedures established by the company.
Coordinate and schedule labor assignments for JGI projects to ensure project schedules are met.
Serve as a liaison between Site Superintendents and Project Managers.
Assist with coordinating over or under burdened Site Superintendents.
Travel as necessary to sites when needed.
Requirements Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years valid years' experience of commercial construction work.
Preferred 5 years of leadership experience of leadership capacity role such as Superintendent or other comparable leadership in the industry.
Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints, specifications and contracts.
Ability to foresee events and anticipate changes in conditions and operations to the greatest extent possible and react to these appropriately.
Must be based within 30 miles of the JGI home office in Buckner, KY.
Maintain a valid driver's license.
Strong knowledge and efficiency in Procore and Microsoft Suite.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task effectively and manage stress load appropriately.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work as both a team player and leader.
Must be a strong problem solver with the ability to eliminate problems amongst staff and adhere to the situational facts while managing field staff problems.
Ability to retain and recall information.

Customer service, delivery schedules are maintained at a consistently high level.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
